Your Hotel Seehof Zurich

Only a few steps away from Lake Zurich and the Opera House, amidst the trendy Seefeld neighbourhood with countless bars and restaurants for the food lovers you will find the stylishly furnished Hotel Seehof Zurich.

  • Travel by car

    If you are at Bellevue follow the signs "Rapperswil / See".  You will drive on the road next to the lake. Make a left at the second traffic light after you passed the hugh place and the opera into Falkenstrasse. And than turn right into Dufourstasse and again left into Seehofstrasse. Hotel Seehof with its red front is on your left hand side. 

    We have four parking spaces in the courtyard for our guests. Additional fees CHF 30 a space/day – Reservations are necessary.

  • Travel by public transport

    Leave the train at Zurich main station "Hauptbahnhof" and take tram number 4 from station "Bahnhofquai/ Hauptbahnhof" the direction Tiefenbrunnen. Get off the tram at the "Opernhaus" station. Follow the street Seefeldstrasse along the tram trassee and you will find the second street to your right, the "Seehofstrasse". The hotel is a red building on the right hand side of the street (Number 11).

  • Travel by plane

    Catch the train to Zurich main station "Hauptbahnhof" from Zurich airport. Take tram number 4 from the Bahnhofquai/ Hauptbahnhof stopp direction "Tiefenbrunnen", and get off the tram at "Opernhaus". Follow the street Seefeldstrasse along the tram trassee and you will find the second street to your right, the "Seehofstrasse". The hotel is a red building on the right hand side of the street (Number 11).

    You may also catch the train to Bahnhof Stadelhofen (S16) from Zurich airport. Walk straight ahead in the direction of lake Zurich. Turn left where the station Opernhaus is, fallow the street Seefeldstrasse along the tram trassee and you will find the second street to your right, the "Seehofstrasse". The hotel is a red building on the right hand side of the street (Number 11).

Opera House Zurich

The Zurich Opera House with its 1‘100 seats counts as the smallest of the big Opera Houses of the World. Here you will dive into a world full of emotions. In the beautiful ballroom you can regularly enjoy popular plays, famous singers as well as premieres, children’s operas and ballets.

Lake Zurich

In the summertime inline skaters, joggers, swim fanatics, jewellery vendors, musicians and street artists all come together for a rendezvous at the gorgeous lakefront promenade. The popular board walk along Lake Zurich will excite young and old. Bahnhofstrasse

In the Bahnhofstrasse you will find everything your heart desires: fashion, art, gourmet foods and specialties from Zurich. Numerous boutiques, department stores and watch shops are lined up next to each other.

While you can stroll to the lake during summer, you can find a mulled wine stand in every corner with hot drinks and pastries during winter. 

Sechseläutenplatz

The Sechseläutenplatz between the Opera House and Bellevue skilfully combines tradition with the modern. The most popular festival spot directly on lake Zurich traditionally welcomes every Spring with the “Sechseläuten-Fest”, a ritual of the people of Zurich with a long historical background. During the hot summer months trees, seating spots, adjacent street cafes and water elements lend the place a unique charm with an international flair.
